Race Art Australia’s team cleans up at Eastern Creek

Race Art Australia’s team riders cleaned up at Eastern Creek last weekend with Phil Redman taking out 3 wins in Saturdays FX Nationals and Stephani Redman taking 2 wins and a 2nd place in Sundays FX Championship Series round.

“As we had only one bike available, Phil rode Ric Wilkinsons Hyosung GT650 which has been given a huge horsepower lift by Hyosung Australia while stef rode our own stock engined GT650″.

“All the GT650′s left the opposition in their wake to take up minor placings and we managed to pull about 0.8 seconds off the F3 lap record in the process on our stock bike.”

The team are trying to get a plan together for Phil to compete in the FX Series next year and invite anyone interested in supporting the Race Art team to contact alan@raceartaus.com.

Hyosung in Formula Extreme Championship

Dealer Principle Ron Sumskis from Jetsport Motorcycles in Wollongong has dusted off his leathers and hit the track again after 23 years, this time on his Hyosung GT650. Other riders have been racing Hyosungs in last years series with Rick Wilkinson winning the Championship in 2010.

Hyosung Australia have just announced price cuts of up to $1300 across a number of its learner friendly models. Australia’s robust economy has provided significant pricing advantages for Aussie riders and Hyosung has made it clear they will continue to pass these savings on. The savings on the GT series and the GV250 cruiser, are in addition to savings announced earlier in March for the entire Aquila 650 cruiser family.

“We have the most powerful LAMS bike on the market, that are full sized and come in a variety of models to suit all riders, and they are now even more affordable” said Hyosung Sales Manager Brendon Roberts. He added “Seriously, there has never been a better time to get on a Hyosung”.

The price reductions’ are effective immediately.

Redman Racing Hyosungs – Race wins in Qld debut

Round 2 of the Southern Downs series at Morgan Park Raceway was the first race meeting where both team riders, Stephanie and Phillip Redman, were to compete together on their Hyosung GT650 race bikes.

The pace was hot throughout the weekend with Stef doing her now routine carving through the field and Phil and swapping the lead with Sean Purcell.

The weekend was a dream run for the Team with Phil taking 1^st outright with 122 points. Three rear of field starts and missing 2 races certainly cost Stef over the weekend but she still earned a very respectable 9^th place overall with 50 points. Despite not contesting the 1^st Round, a consistant run by the Redman Racing Hyosung riders could still result in being at the “Pointy end” by the seasons end.

“Both Hyosung GT650’s performed faultlessly and considering the only modification from a showroom bike was the fitting of a sports muffler, we are more than pleased with our decision to purchase and race them this year.”

Hyosung Australia welcomes further additions to its dealer network.
