Hyosung Network Expands

Hyosung Australia has announced the addition of two new dealers to its network. Redline Motosports (Mick Hansen and Lyle Gilmore) in Mackay QLD and Suncity Motorcycles’ (Brett & Leah Gannon) in Geraldton W.A.

These new dealerships have joined a carefully selected list of service points in regional Australia.

“We’ve always been extra careful when selecting dealers,” said Hyosung’s Marketing Manager Mal Jarrett. “The idea is to have a good geographical spread, so people know that when they buy a Hyosung they can have peace of mind that they can still get top service and after sales advice, especially in regional areas.

According to the latest FCAI (Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries) year to date sales reports, the Hyosung GT650R has once again taken out the top ‘Super Sports’ mantle, and is the eighth best selling road bike in the country. The GT650R offers a great package of features for a reasonable price and is available in a learner variant for LAMS states.

The GT250R sport commuter has maintained its spot as the third best selling sub 250cc road bike and the GV250 cruiser finished in a credible seventh spot. Hyosung has jumped to the top of the leader boards, according to the FCAI’s latest report (Jan-April 2010). The GT650R has once again taken out the top Super Sports mantle, and is the sixth overall best selling road bike. The GT250R has bounced back strongly as the third best selling sub 250cc road bike and the GV250 finished in seventh spot. The GT250R also made it into the top 10 road bikes overall, at a commendable 9th position.

“Hyosung is flat out. We’ve decided to extend the Cash Back offers as they have been successful in bringing more Hyosung buyers into the showrooms Australia wide”, said Hyosung Sales Manager Brendon Roberts. “We are the only brand in the top 15 road-bike brands to show month on month growth for 4 consecutive months”.

Lucky Star…. Madonna wins a Hyosung GT650S

For many years Hyosung Australia has been the major sponsor of the Annual Ulysses AGM.
This year Hyosung not only supported the event by offering 5 days of demo rides on their full fleet of 2010 fuel injected bikes but also donated a brand new GT650S as an early registration prize.
The early registration prize is an incentive for Ulysses members to get in early and register for the annual event. On the last evening the committee put on a great night under ‘the big top’ with live music, give aways, a grand three piece feed and the big prize draw.
The rules are simple, register early and be in attendance on the night of the raffle to be in the draw… it rarely happens but first ticket we had a winner…

It was ‘Hy Fives’ all around as ex Hi-Five member and Fox FM DJ ‘Charli Delaney’ recently took delivery of a new Hyosung GT250 road bike.
Charli, who has just got her bike license, was heard discussing on radio recently how she was having to ride a borrowed bike from a friend to get her riding ‘jollies’.
So Hyosung Australia came to the rescue, offering her a choice of any Hyosung model that she liked, Charli choosing a white GT250.
QBE insurance has also helped Charli get on the road by providing her with 12 months fully comprehensive insurance, as part of a joint sponsorship collaboration between Hyosung Australia & QBE insurance.
“Charli is a great role model and ambassador for Hyosung” commented Hyosung’s marketing manager Mal Jarrett. “She had a massive following with ‘Hi Five’ and likewise now on Fox Radio. Hyosung GT650R top Sports Bike in January!

Hyosung’s GT650R was the top selling Sports Bike in January, with a 26.5% increase in sales over 2009.
