Australia’s top-selling 250cc roadbike, the Hyosung GT250R, is now
available in two new striking two-tone colours: red/black and
silver/black.
Consumers now have the choice of five colours for the GT250R, with the
two-tone incarnations joining the three solid paint schemes: yellow,
red and black.
The GT250R continues to be the quarter-litre
roadbike of choice in Australia, combining a potent V-twin quad-cam
engine with the same dimensions as its bigger GT650R sibling, so it
feels like a full-sized sportsbike.
Until the end of October
this year, 804 GT250Rs were sold in Australia – and now there is even
more choice with the $6990 two-toners.
The GT250R, like the entire Hyosung motorcycle and scooter range, comes with a two-year unlimited-kilometre warranty.
About Hyosung
Founded
in 1978 as a division of the massive Hyosung Group, Hyosung Motors
& Machinery began producing motorcycle deigns under licence for the
South Korean market in 1979. In 1986, Hyosung established its own
research and development centre in Japan and, the following year, began
mass production of its own designs. Hyosung was the official motorcycle
supplier for the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. In 2003, Hyosung Motors
& Machinery was spun off from the Hyosung Group, and remained its
own corporate entity until it was recently absorbed into one of the
biggest companies in South Korea – S&T Machinery. The goal of
S&T is simple: to become one of the major players in the global
motorcycle industry. In just 20 years, Hyosung has made a highly
successful transition fro producing simple, efficient bikes for
commuting into the highly competitive recreational market. It’s also
expanded into developed export markets such as Australia, Europe,
America, Brazil and China.
